Easy ways to lose weight: smaller plates and the Delboeuf Illusion

I think we can condition ourselves to make better choices.

Try putting a small piece of food on a large plate, your mind will tell you that you are eating a small portion and you will automatically put more food on the plate.

However, if you put that same piece of food on a small plate, your mind will tell you that you are eating a large portion and you’ll stop adding food.

Many of my meals I put on smaller plates and bowls, even sometimes our toddlers’ plates.

Take advantage of the way your mind works and alter your eating patterns without actively thinking about it.

Give it a try, would love to know if it works for you?!
